FYI  - The Townsend bicycle loop is a nine (9) mile loop.  The Cade’s Cove bicycle loop is an eleven (11) mile loop open from May through September only.  For the Cade’s Cove loop, it is always best to call first because it is within the national park, and there could be circumstances such as high traffic volume or road maintenance that causes the loop to be closed to bicycle traffic.
