Gatlinburg’s Alpine Slide attraction
and the $7 price includes the chairlift and the
slide ride thru
woods and ski trails. The slide is approximately
1800’ of track
and no special clothes or skills necessary. Speed is
controlled
by pulling on a hand brake. An excellent and fun

Excellent website with great info on attractions,
rates, dates
and hours of operations. This amusement park has
been in
business for years (I visited as a child with my
grandparents)
and had such a great time, my husband and I took our
boys.
Even that trip has been more than 15 years ago, it
was still
super then. I can’t say for sure what it is like
now, but the
chairlift ride can’t have changed. It has to go from
the parking
lot up to the park which is on top of the mountain,
so it
still has to be awesome!
